What is Royal Rangers?

Royal Rangers is a (world-wide) ministry with the mission of reaching, teaching and keeping boys for Christ. This program, like the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), engage and teach boys using fun activities such as camping, fieldtrips, knife and tool use, games and skills. Like BSA boys work toward badges and merits, participate in regional and national competitions and activites. Unlike BSA, our program is Biblically based and aimed at helping boys develope mentally, physically, socially and spiritually.here

Our Outpost, 114 has Ranger Kids (K-2nd grades) Discovery Rangers (3rd-5th) Adventure Rangers (6th-8th)

What is Ranger Kids?

Ranger Kids—the trail to fun and adventure—is an exciting program for boys in kindergarten, first and second grades. Boys in this age group participate in great fun and excitement through a challenging and fun advancement system. This will allow boys to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character. Weekly experiences and activities are enhanced through a specific advancement system which is designed to give the boys a sense of achievement and purpose. Through interactive learning and fun activities, Ranger Kids will grow physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially.

The Royal Rangers" Mission

The mission of Royal Rangers is: To reach, teach, and keep boys for Christ! Facts About Royal Rangers: Purpose of the Royal Rangers Ministry: To evangelize boys for Christ To develop the total boy for Christ (spiritually, physically, mentally and socially) To keep boys in our churches Our Aim and Goals for Royal Rangers To instruct, challenge and inspire our boys in the areas of Bible doctrine, Christian service, moral conduct and basic beliefs of our church through interesting activities boys enjoy. Our Goals To instruct in Bible Doctrine. When a boy participates in Royal Rangers, he should have a basic knowledge of what the Bible teaches. To challenge for Christian service. When a boy completes this program he should be ready to take his place in the area of Christian service where God wants him to be. To inspire a belief in the fundamental beliefs of our church. When a boy completes this program he should be Christian in belief for the remainder of his life. To satisfy the boy's basic need for activity. A boy engaged in this program should have enough interesting activities to do to prevent him from being tempted to engage in unwholesome activities. Reprinted from the Royal Rangers Leaders Manual
